Home services

Websites for home service businesses that work in more than one town.

A home service website has one job: turn a search in the towns you cover into a phone call. We build them with a dedicated page for each service and each town you actually work in, a tap-to-call button on mobile, and LocalBusiness schema so Google and AI answers know exactly where you operate. Pest control, junk removal, cleaning, lawn care: the structure holds for all of them, and the site is free to build.

What a home service website needs

Your customers usually have a problem right now. Ants in the kitchen, a garage to empty before a move. They search, pick someone from the first screen, and call. The site doesn't need to be clever. It needs to prove you serve their town, show that you're licensed and reviewed, and put the phone number under their thumb.

A page for every town you cover

One "areas we serve" list doesn't rank in five cities. Each town where you really work gets its own page, written about that area and that branch.

A page for every service

Someone after termite treatment and someone after rodent control are running different searches. Separate service pages let each one rank on its own.

Fast on a phone

Most of these searches happen on a phone, often in a hurry. A static site loads before they give up and hit back.

How we build it

We build these as static sites, usually Astro and Tailwind, generated from one data file that holds your services, towns, phone, and hours. Adding a town or a service means adding an entry, not designing a page from scratch, and every new page picks up the same schema and call buttons.

Trust markers go high on the page: your review rating, your guarantee, your license. LocalBusiness and FAQPage JSON-LD sit on every page, so search engines and answer engines read the same facts your customers see. For a multi-location company each branch gets its own entry, which lets the map results match the right branch to the right town.

Proof

Built for a four-branch home service company

Diamond Pest Pro

Diamond Pest Pro runs four branches in the Carolinas, and one shared service-area page was never going to rank in four markets. We built a custom Astro 5 site with a landing page for each branch and each of its twelve services, LocalBusiness and FAQPage schema throughout, and a static build that stays quick on mobile. They're in the Carolinas and we're in Logan, so the whole build was remote. We run an ongoing local SEO engagement on top of it, and we'll publish ranking numbers once there's enough data to be honest about.

Answer engine optimization

Getting named when customers ask AI

When a homeowner asks an AI assistant who to call, it names companies whose website and listings agree on which towns they serve. Location pages and matching listings are how you get on that list.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a website for a home service business cost?
It is free to build. After launch, a one-page site is $50 a month on Starter, a site with up to five pages is $100 a month, and a larger site with a page for each service and town is $200 a month. Ongoing local SEO is an extra $300 a month. There is no contract on any plan.
Should every town I serve get its own page?
Only the towns where you actually work and have something real to say. A stack of pages with the city name swapped is what Google calls a doorway page, and it can hurt you. We write each location page around that branch or area: who serves it, what is different there, and reviews from customers in it.
Do you build websites for home service companies outside Utah?
Yes. We are based in Logan, Utah, but website and SEO work is done remotely. Diamond Pest Pro, a four-branch company in the Carolinas, is one example.
Can I change my services or hours after launch?
Yes. You send the change and we make it. Quick text fixes like hours and phone numbers are free on every plan, and the Professional and Business plans include five and ten larger changes a month. There is no website editor to learn.
