Contractors

Websites for contractors and remodelers in Cache Valley.

A contractor's website should show finished work, make it easy to ask for a quote, and belong to you. We build fast sites for remodelers and builders across Cache Valley, with project photos that load on a phone, a quote form that lands in your inbox, and structured data that tells Google which trades you do and where. Plenty of contractors start on a site builder. We have moved one off a builder and rebuilt it in code.

What a contractor website needs

People hiring a contractor are about to spend real money, so they look longer and compare more. They want to see work like theirs, get a sense that you'll show up when you say you will, and reach you without a week of phone tag. Your site does the first half of the sales call before you ever talk.

Project photos that load

Big before-and-after photos are the whole pitch, and they are also what makes contractor sites slow. We serve them resized and compressed so the gallery works on a phone.

A quote request that reaches you

A short form that goes straight to your email, with your phone number shown as a fallback if a message ever fails to send.

A site and domain you own

All-in-one builders make it easy to launch and hard to leave. We register the domain in your name and host the site somewhere you can take it with you.

How we build it

Most contractor sites need three to five pages: home, services, recent projects, about, and contact. We write the services page around the trades you actually do, whether that is kitchens, basements, or additions, so each one is a real entry that search engines can match to a job.

Under the hood that means HomeAndConstructionBusiness schema with your service area and service list, canonical and Open Graph tags so shared links look right, a sitemap, and optimized images on a CDN. None of it is exotic. It's the stuff a site builder tends to hide from you.

Moved off an AI site builder

Griffin Renovation

Griffin Renovation is a Cache Valley remodeler. We first launched its site on the LandingSite AI builder because it was quick. A few months in, the builder's SEO limits and lock-in were getting in the way, so we rebuilt it from scratch in plain HTML, Tailwind CSS, and vanilla JavaScript. The rebuild has full control over structured data and meta tags, serves photos through Cloudflare Image Delivery, and hosts free on Netlify, which dropped a monthly fee.

Getting named when customers ask AI

AI assistants weigh reviews and consistent listings when someone asks which contractor to hire. A site with clear service pages and matching business details gives them something solid to cite.

Frequently asked questions

Should my contracting business move off Wix or a site builder?
If the builder limits your SEO settings, charges you for hosting you could get free, or makes it hard to leave, it is worth moving. If it works and you can edit what you need, it may not be. We moved Griffin Renovation off LandingSite AI because of SEO limits and lock-in, and the build log covers the whole migration.
What pages does a contractor website need?
A home page that says what you build and where, a services page that lists your trades, a page of real projects, and a contact page with a quote form and your phone number. An about page helps too, since people want to know who is coming to their house. That fits the Professional plan: up to five pages for $100 a month.
Should my contractor website show reviews?
Yes. Put your real Google reviews on the site with the reviewer names, rather than anonymous quotes, and link to your Google profile so people can read the rest. Reviews also help AI assistants decide which contractor to recommend.
How much does a contractor website cost?
It is free to build. A typical three to five page contractor site is $100 a month on Professional, which covers hosting, the domain in your name, and five changes a month. Ongoing local SEO is an extra $300 a month.
